This project was both a favorite and a first for us. We added a second story to an existing single story floor plan, providing an additional three bedrooms and two bathrooms. We reconfigured the first floor to create a more functional kitchen layout for a busy family that loves cooking and nourishing their community. They chose pops of bright, fun color to create vibrant interior and exterior spaces. This project included new hickory engineered hardwood flooring throughout both stories, replacing popcorn ceilings, custom kitchen cabinetry, functional storage spaces, new Hardie plank siding, standing seam metal roofing on new and existing roofs, and energy efficiency upgrades including closed-cell insulation, a conditioned attic, air sealing, and energy-efficient fiberglass windows.
